The Town of Drayton Valley has approved a Development Permit application for a multi-unit residential development at 5076 43 Street, Drayton Valley, AB T7A 1B8 (Plan 4539TR; Block 37; Lot 17C) with variances. The proposed development includes a two-storey, eight-unit building (four two-bedroom units and four one-bedroom basement suites), with 10 on-site parking stalls (eight for residents, two for visitors). Revisions to the site plan prohibit direct access to 43 Street by installing curbs around parking stalls 9 and 10, see pictures.
If you wish to appeal this decision to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB), you may do so within 21 days of the notice of approval (by March 23rd, 2026).
