NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Bylaw No. 2026/01/D to amend Land Use Bylaw 2024/03/D

An application has been received by the Town to:

1. Redistrict lands within NW ¼ 17-49-7-W5M from the Urban Reserve (UR) District to the Industrial, Medium (I-MED) District. The subject lands are located within the Apex West Area Structure Plan. The applicant has indicated that a portion of the subject lands is intended to accommodate a laydown yard for oilfield storage and trucking operations.

Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, Town Council will be holding a Public Hearing to receive comments, questions, and concerns regarding the Bylaw. The public hearing will also be virtually broadcast via the Town’s YouTube channel. A copy of the proposed by law can be viewed online at https://pulltogetherdraytonvalley.ca/

If you cannot attend, you may submit comments in writing to the Planning and Development Department email below or in person at the Civic Center on or before October 28^th, 2026. Written submissions received after this date will be provided to Town Council as part of the formal public hearing.
